Rising Tide

Inspired by living on the largest lake in Texas, Lake Texoma, for over 15 years. So much of my art and writing comes from this place. Here’s my 5/7/5 HAIKU that also inspired this work:

a pelican gulps
a sand dollar in the tide;
then looks for fat fish
