It does feel free, doesn’t it? I’m glad you picked up on what I was trying to depict….joy and freedom of the wild for the animals. :)

Fabulous design Sharon…you’ve used a little different technique here I think?
    I like it….wonderful work!

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

Thanks so much Karen. I use different techniques on each piece I do. I don’t want any of my work to be alike. That would get boring and it’s so fun to do different things. Have a great day! :)

Sharon you have some fantastic digital art here. On my refrigerator I have the map of Texas, the lone star state. Hi Texan, nice to meet you, we lived not far from downtown Alamo in San Antonio.!!

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

Hi there Gloria, I visited San Antonio; loved the river walk and of course Sea World. We did all the tourist things like boat rides and horse-drawn carriage rides too. Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comment.

As I look at this work I get a sense that it is a record of history. It reminds me of the native pictographs and petroglyphs our native culture placed on the rocks. Your back ground has a feel of sand stone and the layering that happens under years of pressure. There is a RB group called SPIRIT of the NATIVE AMERICAN, you should check it out. I think a lot of your work would fit into their group. This is a wonderful image!!!

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

I have several native american themed acrylic paintings I’ve done. ((they’re not on RB)) My great grandmother was Cherokee, so knowing her added influence to my art works, I’m sure. I’m glad you could see some of what I was conveying with this piece Giselda. :)

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

Thanks for the “wow” on this one. It’s one of the first pieces I added to RB when I joined 6 months ago. I’m glad you love it.
