Elements of Nature

Republished 11-09.

Digital collage inspired by the wolf packs that howl at night near my home. I see lone wolves sometimes late at night running across the field behind my house. Coyotes come up closer, right to the back door, searching for food. I live in an area rich in beautiful wildlife which inspires my art and writing and uplifts my spirits each day. :)

This work has been FEATURED in the Wolves in Art group AND in the Digital Art Compilations group!

Hi there Paul, thank you for stopping by to see this one! :)

Thank you Ruth! :) It’s the coyotes that come as close as the back door; but when they see you looking at them they take off running. I’ve seen wolves in the field behind the house though—at a slight distance. Once while it was snowing a couple of years ago I saw them running in the snow…beautiful sight. :)

Sharon this is just awesome! Great choice of colour and the two pieces work so well together. Instant favourite!

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

HI Parmi and thank you! I did a couple of similar wolf digital works in the past with the leaf texture and really enjoyed them, so thought I’d do one more. :)

Beautiful…this gorgeous image speaks volumes…or should I say “howls”.
I too live in the middle of nature…definitely a wonderful inspiring life experience…no wolves (I wish!) but lots of other wildlife!

  • Sharon K. Shubert replied

I couldn’t stand it if I couldn’t open my back door and see nature. Isn’t it wonderful? Sure you don’t have any wolves around? I tried to capture a picture of a coyote that comes up close to the back door but he always runs just as I’m pointing the camera his way. Darn it! One of these days I’ll get a good shot and share it in a piece of art. :)
