Heath Ledger as The Joker
Heath Ledger was from Perth and we often saw him back here for family occasions and at Christmas at one of his favourite places, Subiaco. He went on to greater things, and honed his craft so well that he made the Joker so real that it will surely stand out amongst the Jokers of the past in the role. This portrait is a copy of a photograph, but my tribute to him as a local, well liked person of our city Perth in Western Australia.

i love Heath, he was a great man, actor and artist.
just saw one of my favourite movies he starred in called “A Knight’s Tale” i’ve watched that movie at least a half dozen times, one of my favourites
You truly have captured his essence in this beautiful portrait of him as the Joker in the movie “The Dark Knight” wasn’t that the title??
Anyway, your painting is a wonderful tribute to Heath
