Pack Horse Bridge, Wycoller
Number of views as of 19th May 2013 = 470.
The old Pack Horse Bridge, one of seven bridges crossing Wycoller Beck.
The bridge could be up to 800 years old, but may have been rebuilt a few times over the centuries. It is too narrow for vehicles, but can be crossed on foot or on horse-back.
Wycoller is a small village situated in a hidden, yet beautiful corner of Lancashire, in the north-west of England.
Dedicated to my father (1908-2000) who loved to visit this place.
Date: 2nd June 2011.
