Hello and thankyou for visiting my portfolio.

The name RedHillDigital comes from the area where I live (Redhill, in the town of Bournemouth, in the county of Dorset on the South Coast of England), plus my interest in Digital photography.

  • Thanks Jason, the driver/owner even waited for me to take the shot. How cool is that!

Don’t you wish that this Imax building didn’t exist!! :))

Great shot, I love the blue paint. I want one!!!

  • Thanks Anne, you mean you didn’t have one of these on your birthday list! Re: the Imax, with only one unit currently occupied, I think its days are probably numbered, don’t you?

Well, they could blow it up!!! :)) maybe it will create waves at the Reef at the same time :)

It’s on my list now :)

  • Don’t get me started! I love Bournemouth – it’s just that we seem to have had a history of bad planning decisions over the last 20 years, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better! It seems they won’t be happy until there are parking meters in every road, at which point we’ll all pack up and head out of town (in our camper vans!).

I’ve been here 20 years and I wonder if I’ll still be here in 20 years time. It changed a lot!!! mostly for the better but some things just don’t make any sense.

I did a writing as well which was in the Echo about the scuplture in Boscombe which came from China, I was stunned that no one thought about having local artists or local Art students handling this project…….

  • That probably would have saved thousands!

Well the money could have gone to the local art community. This is not the money (which the tax payer didn’t pay as it was paid apparently by the contractors), but I thought that getting involved the art community and art students locally for a local scuplture/project made sense…….
