The latest in my collection of English Pubs, here is the King’s Arms, Sandford Lock, Oxfordshire England.
Sandford, just a couple of miles south of the city of Oxford is the site of one of the first three pound locks built on the River Thames in 1630. The lock was rebuilt in 1795 and 1836 and over the years has undergone several modifications and updates.
