Old Town, Poole

Not far away from the busy quay and High Street, the Old Town part of Poole (Dorset, England) is a tranquil place containing many hidden treasures, including the Guild Hall shown here. Building work commenced in 1761 and the total cost of the project was £2,260. It was restored in 2007 at a much greater cost I’m sure! Still, compared to some of the more modern buildings in the town, money well spent I’d say.
