Carnival Day on Wareham Quay
Number of views as of 10th March 2014 = 320.
The temperatures in Britain have soared in the last couple of weeks and today was no exception, with the mercury nudging 30 degrees C again.
Here in Wareham (Dorset, England) it was carnival day today and locals and visitors alike flocked to the charming, saxon town to watch the carnival procession, enjoy the sunshine or even jump off the bridge into the river Frome (not condoning it of course, but people still do it despite the dangers).
The Purbeck Gem is moored on the quayside after unloading passengers from Poole, just over 6 miles away by boat.
The Old Granary is ever a popular watering hole whilst Lady St Mary (Wareham’s parish church) watches over the scene.
