A vintage double-decker bus, pictured here at Dunster Castle, where it is used to transport passengers between Dunster station on the West Somerset Railway line and the village of Dunster about 1 mile away.

The vehicle is a 1956 Guy Arab Mark IV, formerly belonging to Exeter City Council.

Guy Motors was founded in 1885 in Wolverhampton, England and produced cars, buses, trucks and trolley buses. The Arab Mark IV was the company’s most successful bus design.

    I used to catch a bus like that (same color, only single deck) from Belmore to Enfield Baths back in the ’50s as a kid. A real bone-shaker but a great memory. Thanks for posting the pic!
