Throop Mill Reflections
There has been a mill on this site since at least the 11th century A.D. The current building dates from c1900, and was driven by a 50 inch turbine made by a local firm in Ringwood. It is now disused but the building and machinery is largely intact. The Friends of Throop Mill organise occasional open days.

Believe this or not Howard,i saw a very large Pike taken out of here some forty five years ago this photo jogged the memory thanks for that Howard.
