I am quite fond of these fish – you just can’t mess up painting a koi :)

I had just finished my initial drawing and was about to start painting – as always, I had my coffee cup right next to my water cup that I use for dipping my paintbrush into – wouldn’t you know it, I dipped my paintbrush right into the coffee. I realized it immediately, and didn’t actually paint with the coffee :) but it did set my mind adrift as to the possibilities of different color relationships for these fish – why let reality be your guide?
