Oh, beautiful pic of such awful stuff!
It used to blow in Nevada- but only twice a year—6 months North and then 6 months south. We’d burn it off as it sprouted! Burros love it, and corralled horses like a bite or two when green. Goats get fat on it. It’s another silly import by the gov, I think I heard. Gah!

Thanks Dayonda. Yes your right it is awful stuff. My neighbors never cut theirs down until it is so dry that it breaks off and blows down the road into my yard. It was an import by the gov to eradicate some other weed. Appreciate the attention and comments. Hugs xoxo

I had not seen this up close and personal either. but this thistle is a real pain to have around. the stickers are the seeds and it does not take much to have it all over your yard. Appreciate your comments and attention.
