For me, photography evolved from being my personal mnemonic device for “special occasions” to an every day way of capturing, keeping, and sharing everything from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
When I look at a photograph, I don’t see a still and lifeless image; I see an event, a moment in time surrounded by a story to be told and shared with others over and over again.
I love photography and art that evokes emotion, art that I can not only see, but feel. It is a key element in the art that I enjoy as well as one that I try to incorporate into my own work.
