Hello, and thanks for checking out my gallery. I have lived in Alice Springs since 2002, so most of my shots are from the Red Centre. I enjoy shooting the local landscape and trying to get a fresh perspective on some very popular locations. I especially enjoy the challenge of trying to photograph the local, but usually camera shy wildlife. I always find it rewarding to discover an animal in it’s natural habitat. Manage to get close enough to photograph it, hopefully take a few shots before it disappears, and then fingers crossed that at least one shot is in focus and not obstructed by a twig or other piece of vegetation. It is a thrill when it all comes together and a learning experience for next time if it doesn’t.
