I assume you are investigating firms to do your framing in the U. S. and Europe to save shipping costs? I realize you probably want to keep the printing in-house to control quality, but having overseas framers and re-shippers could be cost effective to the consumer.

I’m new here, but this is still very exciting news to me! I hope this trend continues

I assume the dips are the Christmas period.
The resurgence of groups is very encouraging especially after the dip following the initial introduction.
Obviously Groups will play a huge part in the development of the Red Bubble Community.
It’s a pity there is no Group/sales correlation. (bit too early anyway)

Redbubble is “THE” best !!!

I’ve tried several sites over the years with varying degrees of satisfaction but I feel far more comfortable and ‘at home’ with RB than any other. I particularly like the way you share your successes, plans etc with us and this probably does more than anything towards making us feel we are vital part of the overall operation. With this attitude that you have I predict a very bright future for RB. Peter

easily best site for sharing work and inspiring others

great to be so well informed and know we are dealing with human beings!!!!

one thing i would really like to see is a disabling of right click on the site – ie stop anyone being able to just go to the large version of your picture , right clicking and then saving the picture, and gettign a free copy of your picture!!!...this can be done as loads of news sites do not allow this function.

id like to see who are the top sellers
maybe a top 40 list, that updates each month
it would be great to see what they do to be soo successful?!

oh i agree with jumpy, it would be good to see who the top sellers are because just cause an artwork or tshirt is the most popular doesn’t mean that the buyer is a top seller… as to the right clicking problem, isnt’ there some code that doesn’t allow you to right click? i’m not sure…i know on xanga some ppl have figured out how to stop ppl from right clicking. would that work on a mac though?

Redbubble is by far my favourite site – the arts combo works wonders of inspiration – may the future be bright.

I love redbubble. I have not sold anything yet I make sure i put my link on my photography cards that i display if anyone has any pointers how to sale on here i would live it. I am dying for a sale weather it’s a small card or t-shirt…. I also purchased one of my works for my sister and the print quality is the best i have ever seen….

I have been to other web sites, and this one has been the most inspiring!

and….to add more words…...of all the sites that I have had my work on, this is the most professional. We are kept up to date on the latest of everything (well, as update as one can keep up with, all the up to date stuff). Rb is definitely a place to learn more about how your creativity is progressing and in the process, hopefully make $ while learning. I have interacted with many lovely people and seen some wonderful works of art (photographs are included in art). I believe that most are putting their best upfront and one the line…The best to all of us@

Way to go RB! You all do such great work, to make being on the site such an enjoyable experience – and if people are selling, good luck to them as well! I buy other peoples’ work, as well as some of my own, and couldn’t be happier, even thought no-one’s buying mine.
Love the graphs, but a key to the bottom axis WOULD be useful… and I’d love to know who your top sellers are – although I guess if you dientify them we’ll all bombard them with mail, asking how they do it … so maybe not such a good idea?

i collate all my own hits and view in all my sites into graphs etc to work out where im going right and wrong..

Despite being new on RB, I’ve received some great and encouraging feed back from very kind people on RB.

This is probably the most user-friendly sites to display one’s creative side.

I feel that diversifying into printed household textiles like dinner mats, serviettes, table covers, curtains, bed linen…........would be a great seller as these sell by containers out of here….

... it was a suprise to me that the yearly average of sales per seller is $150.
Can I clarify – Is this $150 of sales (including redbubble costs) or $150 of earnings (profit to artist)?

Another important statistic that I would like to hear more about is how many sales are buyers purchasing other peoples art (ie not including people buying there own work).

yes-it would be great to have some other outlets for our creations- such as selling through shops ,etc ,or possible book compilations-I wouldnt mind getting royalty payments.

Interesting stats chaps. There’s a couple of very interesting very high peaks and low troughs on your graph. Can anyone say what they are? Incidentally, it would be a great help if we could actually see the numbers for the horizontal axis, so we can where things are picking up or slowing… Just a thought.

RedBubblers group activity. Specifically, members of groups who haven’t embraced groups.

Personally I was excited by the idea of groups at first.
I uploaded a couple of artworks specifically designed for the theme of the group.
I received a couple of comments.
After that I uploaded a couple more artworks.
Same reaction.
Then I thought: what is the point? Why am I doing this?
Then I stopped being an active member. It’s been about 2 months since my last contribution.

I am a fan of Red Bubble. Not a big seller (0), or buyer (2 ‘exclusive’ T-Shirts for myself), but I tell others about the great Red Bubble when ever I can.
I go to an Art Group at a Community Centre one day a week, and I have mentioned Red Bubble many times.
I recently created some business cards with my Red Bubble URL (web address) and my email address, so I will distribute them to my fellow art groupers.
I also volunteer at the Community Centre as much as I can, so I will give the staff a card.
It’s not much, but some of my ‘recruits’ have got back to me and liked what they saw.
On Friday I had one of my ‘exclusive’ t-shirts on whilst extolling Red Bubble’s virtues, which was handy. ‘This is one of their shirts’.
