I have two books at Blurb. I agree, their quality is outstanding. I have also heard their customer service is great too, but I haven’t had to use them.

Blurb do an amazing job!
(just watch out they don’t have a hidden limit as lot of their advertised “FREE shipping” is then limited to $20 or something similar that doesn’t actually cover all the shipping costs to another country!)

Great stiff..but i am having trouble up loading ‘booksmart’. Waited the 14 minutes…got the icon on my desktop…clicket it….Nothing!!
any ideas?

I’m not quite seeing the RedBubble tie-in here. Does this mean that RedBubble how has an API that BookSmart taps in to? Or does it just mean that RedBubble have got a general deal for people to get free shipping?

For example, does it mean that anyone can buy a copy of a book I recently created on blurb and get free shipping using the above code, even though the book already existed and has no connection with RedBubble.

This is brilliant. so good of you to collaborate with another company this way thinking purely of the members leading up to Xmas.
While I’m here hope you don’t mind if I go off topic… I’ve had a few people in Tee HQ asking about kids tees for Xmas and I noticed in the feedback and suggestions area that Peter wrote they could be coming within the next month. Can I tell the members a more accurate time line.. .will it be end of Nov? (they’re very excited about it… as am I).

Wonderful – I’ve published two books using Blurb and they’ve really upgraded the quality over the last four years – the black and white images style book – the quality is excellent – much much improved. all good.

Just to add my two-pennies worth here. Blurb is GREAT!!! the quality is GREAT!!! the service is GREAT!!! In fact EVERYTHING is GREAT!!!!
My wife and I have both made Blurb books, and we know of other artists who also have made Blurb books. The quality is beyond compare.
I thoroughly reccommend you all make a book with Blurb!!!

Don’t forget, it’s not just about photos and novels either. I’ve been with Blurb a few months now, putting together a book of my illustrations. The possibilities are endless.

So, why not interface rb to blurb and take a cut of the referrals instead of reinventing the wheel? Similarly, can I make moo.com cards using my portfolio?

This is great news, I have made 5 books with Blurb they are all of the very highest quality. One I had sent to my father, via the fastest delivery possible as he was dying, it was delivered very quickly and was appreciated. He only happened to live another 11 days. The large 11 inch book is impressive.

Marieangel, Blurb are a selfpublishing book company who print books on demand… you can either order one of a book or 1000. Any type of book too, from novels to story/picture books to photobooks (those books with gorgeous photos/artwork made for coffee tables). I’ve bubblemailed you with this answer too… just in case!!

I was not able to order from blurb with free postage. What is up with that? I used the RedBubble code and it still rejected me because I was not “the author”. Oh well….

Excellent news. I previously used Lulu but was totally unhappy with their service ESPECIALLY postage. The blurb software is easier to use and looks great. A Wonderful Xmas present from RedBubble to us all.
