Let me tell you, the cover is stunning, and the boxed presentation impressive. I was allowed a very quick peek and IMHO this is excellent value for money … now off to read the real reviews!

This is wonderful…so well done…
I love the idea of being able to do books of my painting on RB…I looked into blurb and it it’s unnecessarily complicated and time consuming….you make it so easy to do everything…..we can do our own like we do the calendars and include writing on the facing page…we can choose covers styles etc…I have buyers waiting!!!...

Ok, I was actually one of the judges for this collection…
I though it was neet-o at the time, but! NOW, looking back over the works finally decided on for inclusion and seeing it bound and “real” (yah know?) I really think this is a killer compendium.

It’s not a (sigh, ugh) “RedBubble” book (roll eyes), but a stand on its own, epic of sorts (straight faced, perhaps for the first time ever).

It builds, like all cities, on things ugly, beautiful, funny and horrible, but even through the slight fog the array produces, you can tell it is a single story, a single teller, yours as well as mine, and one which will not, well, cannot, lie to you. Of a very current, well edged mood, this stands out from all those which came before it, as it is not just pretty and smelling of fresh bound paper, but it has a strength as well, a backbone, and a fighting spirit.
Trust me.

I don’t earn anything from the sale of “The City”, and I’m much more fond of being hard on RedBubble (tough love… ok, sometime cruel), but they, and we, came together on this one and turned out something superb. I’m honored to have had a part in deciding on this line-up of works, I’m sputtering at this point… so… (but my face is still serious as it’s ever been).

This is probably the best RB Book printed so far because of it’s theme and it’s scope have captured a mood.
This book cerainly has more attitude than any before it.

I entered this a while ago when I was applying for a job at RedBubble, then mostly forgot about it. So when I got the “voucher” email I checked my account again, and after a bit noticed I got a “Top Ten” photo. This makes up being an 0-fer at Krappy Kamera this year.
