Updates to the User Agreement
Hello – we are about to make a few updates to the user agreement that I’d like to bring to your attention:
1. We’ve removed the following paragraph referring to the RedBubble Beta Phase:
“Beta phase
RedBubble is currently in its beta phase. This is a trial period during which we will be offering limited functionality to the RedBubble service. There may be interruptions to this service while we upgrade our website and its capabilities. We will let you know when the official website launches and this beta phase is complete.”
2. We’ve included a line detailing how people can close their account:
“You may close your account at any time by logging into your account, clicking on the hyperlink titled ‘cancel your account’, which appears at the following address: http://www.redbubble.com/mybubble/account, and by clicking on the button titled ‘Yes, really cancel my account’ that appears on the subsequent web page.”
3. We’ve removed the following line from the Agency Agreement (as we’ve stopped applying rounding):
“3.2 When calculating the retail price for your product we may round up to the nearest dollar. Any rounding up amount will be paid to you.”
4. We’ve changed any reference to ”$” in the User Agreement to “US$”.

Here’s a question – How the heck do I find the user agreement now that my account has already been created?
kseriphyn
Hi Sara, Look towards the bottom of the page and you’ll see a link called User Agreement. It’s always at the footer.
Sara Lamond
thanks kseriphyn :)

You might want to check again RedBubble – I’m still seeing the “beta phase” statement.

Can I be a little nosy? Is the change to USD in the agreement a sign that more unique visitors are coming out of the US now? I’m really curious. (I find site statistics fascinating.)
peter
Honestly, the idea of putting four different currency thresholds – soon to be five when we add Canadian dollars – just seemed too awkward for the agreement. We could have left it as Australian Dollars – but no one outside of Australia knows what an Australian Dollar is worth. I figured that everyone pretty much knows understands the value of the USD and will be able to relate it back to their local currency.
About 1/3 of RB’s traffic is from Australia, 1/3 from Europe and 1/3 from North America.

It makes a lot of sense peter,I just have a currency converter on my desk top.

how about if you want to remove stuff you`ve faved..(tastes change)...it doesn`t keep going back to page one….?
Suzanne German
peter it’s not that difficult really – there currency converters available for free on the internet….perhaps we can locate them and have it handy if anybody needs to refer to it.
just a thought
