Hello all!
I’m constantly inspired by the people I meet via RedBubble. There are so many interesting and inspirational people involved in RedBubble … and I’d like to help get more of our stories out.
As one way of doing this I’ve started (today) a series of ‘artist profiles’. The guidelines for these profiles are very broad. People involved in RedBubble write about other people involved in RedBubble. The profiles should be short (500 words) and interesting. The first profile is on the wonderfully talented Tom Godfrey
So if there’s someone on RedBubble who inspires you – and you’d like to write a short piece on them please get in touch with Peter.

Mel Brackstone is one of my inspirations. Every time I get up at the crack of dawn and head to a seascape, she’s etched into my brain. One day I’d love to head up to Brisbane and shoot a sunrise with her, preferably with some wicked cloud formations. Ahh one can only dream :) hehe
Another is my wonderful friend Sam Cole-Surjan. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time shooting with Sam and the way she works is amazing. She can look at a scene that has potentially no interest and bring it alive with outstanding post-processing work.

I would like to suggest our very own Joe Mortelleti! I just found the thread discussing his bone marrow transpalnt, and out of suriosity went to his portfolio, all I can say is wow! There is more there than i can look at in several days, but I am going to try my best. His work has that special quality that seperates it from the rest, his work is artistic, taking the finer qualities of light and subject matter and basically painting with a camera! His work is fantastic, and I also agree on Mel and Sam, but I would ask for Joe first!
My two cents worth, cheers all!
