I’m already in three groups!!

Would be great to have an Illustration group – I have trouble finding other illustrators on Redbubble. Would be handy to know how many of us there are, and be able to get in touch. Loving the new groups though! Very exciting times…

I want to start a TOY CAMERA group !

We are missing a comedy, comic group. Who would like to manage that!

Very exciting! It’s great watching the bubble evolve. I can’t wait for someone to start a Landscape Group!!!. It will also be great just to be able to view the amazing works that others produce in different groups.

Yes to the toy camera group – I don’t have one yet, but I’m planning on getting a Holga very soon. Groups are going to be great – thanks, RB!

Hey RB, you know what would be nice? a private “mod” group for when the groups get more complicated and perhaps mods of each group can have discussions on the best way to handle things etc?

Is it appropriate to join a group if you don’t produce that particular type of work? I’m an admirer of lots of different stuff that I don’t know how to do but I don’t know if I should join those groups.

I echo Natalie’s request, a mod/admin group would be handy.

Is it okay to post more than one image in your group? Or does it depend on the group’s specifications. If multiple postings are okay, maybe there could be a group called ‘Your Best Shot’ or something, where everyone just posts one piece.

I like having groups. I was wondering if anyone wants to lead a sportings events groups.

If someone is going to do a landscape group I will delete the landscape photos from my group once it’s active :) Just let me know.

I think i/we should have a Psychedelic/Surrealism type group or would they be two separate groups (psychedelic arts & surrealism)

and also i would like to put my hand up for forming : Event/Concert/Festival Photography (photography and graphic arts related to Music events, festivals, etc)

I just wanted to make a comment , please read the guidelines of the the groups, For example Drawn to cotton is a group for artists and illustrators who do their OWN drawings by hand or vector NOT photos or found images.
Sorry I do not mean to sound pushy :) but there is no point having a group if it’s everything chucked in.

as a beginner do i put all my work in my group ,and will “the group watcher” be commenting on helpful hints or just reg. comments as usual?

Oops I found a glitch….when I look at the group gallery some images have a remove button on them, obviously I didn’t click them to see if they remove the artwork but it looks possible.

i did think that maybe a group for indisicives. or is that indicisives? i think its the first. i should check my oxford dictionary. or maybe google. no i’ll change it from indisiscives to ditherers. perhaps. anyway, we could have a group where we could post pictures that we are unsure on. or not post them. or maybe its not a good idea anyway. or is it?

Missing a Fantasy theme group. you know fairies, elves LOTR based images and stories and everything else in a persons imagination.

Just uploaded a photo to my group and it has come up on my art as well. I already have this image there, so is on twice now? How do I add to a group without adding it to my own images as well??!!

Michelle you just put your pic in edit mode and tick the box of the group you have joined:)

I am thinking of a group for Others. For example: hats, shadows, furniture, and etc. What do you think?

How does one access a group?
Is there anything unique at all about groups?
Is there a forum of some sort to discuss imagery/writing?
Any links anywhere that take you to a group?

I wasn’t sure how these groups were going to work at first, but now I’ve joined up to a couple, I’m addicted already!! Like I needed something else to be addicted too huh?! It’s an easy and fun way to see other peoples work in an area that interests you….Well Done Red Bubble, you just keep on getting better and better! :D Is there going to be a B&W group soon?

For example….I heared there’s gonna be a landscape group.
If you’re looking for landscapes you know that everyone tags
it as “landscape”. So you type in “landscape” in the search engine and get the
result.
For some groups ( I don’t mean all….I’m sure there are gonna
be some interesting ones) it doesn’t make too much sense.

Hmmm – so , if I do a search for ‘landscapes’ now, won’t I get landscapes?

Melinda – yes and reasonably soon. What we have released today is version 0.1. We’ve got a lot more planned for groups …

what about a group for non photoshop users ( like me) but use other graphic programs ie PSP fractals terragen etc

it would be nice if we could have a mini message board or some sort of communication thing whether it be just a couple of topics within the group. something to communicate within the group. but i’m loving being able to find more work that actually appeals to me. i used to feel so left out before…now i am more at peace. yay!

More bits and pieces on the whole “groups” thing right here in the forums!!

Lucindawind – I have requested such a group. I called it ‘The Digital Interface’ and it is non-exclusive – any software and any skill level is welcome here. It has not been created yet because I requested it after hours – assuming of course that it gets the go-ahead.

Hey guys, just like you put the add to group bit in edit/upload artwork. can you put it in Journals too, this would mean we don’t use writing to put information about our images

I just had a few suggestions for the group feature. Maybe I’m just being dense, or maybe you already have these ideas on your list, but anyway. I’d like a way to monitor group activity on the MyBubble page. Just a quick, X new users/X new works. Nothing fancy, just enough to let me know I should go check out the group again. Also, a forum link on the group page would be nice. Great job so far!

Love the development of this site – well done! Could the fractal artists have a group too, please? Our numbers are growing!

And in answer to questions. New groups will be added each day as people contact us and ask to form one. So just wait. They will go live at about 2-4am London time.

Good news indeed. I wish to create the group and thinking how people would like to post their work in group…well done Redbubble!!

Just wanna say how much I’m lovin’ the groups! Fabulous idea! What I particulary love is If you want to buy a B&W image, go to the B&W group, a picture of a cat, then go the Pets group etc etc, and also being able to see the work of like minded Bubblers!!

Is there a quick & dirty way to pop over to my group from “My Bubble” ? Something a little easier than Community & scanning through the threads looking for a possible link ?
