Ever wonder why things take so long?

I always knew that the RedBubble team had a big job on their hands. But recently, various piles around the office have been tipping me off as to just how big a job it is…

This is the board where I pin up all the cool ideas people add to the Feedback and Suggestions Forum and then refer to for ongoing nagging to get what we all want :)

...and the ones that didn’t fit on the board!

Then Pete tells me that 2585 sales notifications went out in March and Group Activity is growing and growing

Just cleaning up Ed’s desk could be a 5 person job

We’re always trying out new products which results in the Bub Hub being taken over with samples ready to be played with and debated over.

And Peter has a more emails than I can count to deal with – 4294965818 to be precise. That explains why he never gets back to me.

Sometimes finding the time to get through all the great ideas can be overwhelming, but it’s worth it. And it’s so satisfying to see artists and writers sharing their creativity. The staff may not be able to make magic happen overnight, but it’s inspiring to work with a bunch of people who are so focussed on helping artists connect with one another and sell their work.

if you are looking for ideas, well you know your little rec bubble card tht you send out with peoples cards they have purchased, well you could do that card as a car sticker for peoples cars, good advertising, also so many of us bubbles and friends of those bubblers wish you sone kids tees, the pictures could still be the same size I think, i have had over 50 people saying they wish you sone kids tees, just a thought Dawn

I ordered 10 cards. They came stuffed in a clear bag, 5 in each bag and some of the envelopes where bent. The quality of the cards is wonderful. Everyone I showed them too loved them. However I don`t like having to have an envelope that is bent on the corners to give to someone. To me that is tacky. I just ordered more and two canvas pieces so I`ll see what condition they are in when I get them. Just wanted to let you know. I know you all are busy and you all work hard. Keep up the good work and I can`t wait to see the product I get.

Paid an unsolicited visit to “bubbleland” a few weeks ago when in Melbourne for a few days and met several “bubble-masters”. Certainly was impressed by the mess that is just like my own office… looked at a few ideas they are working with and trying to develop… some interesting ideas and concepts seem to be coming our way in the near future!

I learned a lot about the whole process that “drives the bubble” behind the scenes and a lot has evolved in the year or so I have been a “bubblemaniac”... While “redbubble” is reasonably early in the developmental scheme of things, it does seem that all of us “bubblemaniacs” are benefitting from the progress that the “bubble” is undergoing… now something just needs to be done to get more people that are not “bubble artists” themselves to come to the site to buy the stuff!!!

Love the idea of “bubblestickers for bumpers” or similar… sounds like a great way to spread the word!

Keep up the great work all of you “bubblemasters”!!!

Your efforts are most certainly appreciated. That e-mail figure (4294965818) boggles my mind. Putting that number into words makes it Four Billion Two Hundred Ninety Four Million Nine Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Eight Hundred Eighteen.

That means if he did nothing else except open e-mails 8 hours a day, one e-mail per second, it would take roughly 419 years just to open them much less read them. The last suggestion I sent is probably number 4294965817. LOL
