Wrecking Religion

the robes, the collars, the beads
make them look the part
it’s such a pity God doesn’t look at the outside
He only sees the heart

in many cases their hearts
are like dead man’s rotten bones
it seems each and every one of them
is an unlimited pair of clones

the words they recite off
the prayers they so eloquently read
they were trained how to say it all
but not to supply the need

like cows lead to an arboitry
the people attend the mass
deceived into thinking they are now eligible
for Heaven’s forgiven class

the Bible is a foreign object
one which is read on Christmas day
yet it is meant to be the guide for life
keeping trouble away

i can see the falseness and fakeness
dripping from their evey word
the pretend to be holy and pious
yet into blindness they are lured

it is crushing to see yound lives
captured so cruely by religion
from the center the hatrid and coldness
so freely blooming

life is too short
to start and end in a fight
who cares who did what
it occured before you’d even had a glimpse of light
