A goodbye to my former life
A hello to the new
The misery carries over
I still feel blue

The last was full of hate
And still now she doesn’t care
The surface has changed
But maybe theres more to it than hair

Feeling numb on the inside
Is how they describe
But I just feel distressed
With the dull sadness I imbibe

If I can never truly change
Maybe this is what im meant to be
Feeling depressed and lifeless
Living in bourgeoisie

New beginnings are skin deep

I probably should explain what this is about
in my own life
But i’d rather you just read it
And hopefully understand.

I like this. Rhyming without being cheesy is difficult.
    But this is great.

I don’t know how to relate from a female perspective, but this piece has given me a brief view into my past, and I have to say this is well done, perhaps I see the depictions more from my own world views and personal experiences, but non the less I am reminded of times gone past and even times sometimes lingering. Thanks for sharing you thoughts and inspirations.

i couldnt have asked for a better comment = ]
i think its wonderful you relate from your own experiences
as opposed to just liking how i describe my life
or feeling the exact same thing i did (well, still am)
    love hearing from you prisoner!
