2 Cor. 4.6
¶ And God said, Let there be light
and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And now nobody comments.
Perhaps because i used a bible verse (despite being a pagan)
Or perhaps because its boring and ugly.
Do leave a comment and explain to me

I love the Bible verse.
...but the verse you quoted is Gen 1:3 – the verse you used in the title is 2Co 4:6 which reads “For God who said ‘let light shine out of darkness made his light shine in our hearts”... i.e. Paul quotes and paraphrases Gen 1:3.
So appropriate I guess – light shining on the heart.
Makes me think I should do some more ‘spiritual’ artwork… :)

thankyou
my christian friend alex was at me about the name
but thats what i saw when i opened up the bible
so i just used that
i could always change it, but it seems to fit
for me anyway
thanks for the comment, its nice to see someone actually taking in all the work
instead of just slapping on a label (great work, nice colour, SEXY!! etc.)

The reference to the scripture is what drew me in. The scripture above is actually from
Genesis 1:3 not Corinthians 4:6
Which is:
” For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,
who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
They are both relevant But I like the Corinthians better as it refers to the heart – which is what I first saw in the shape of the breasts drawing down into the cone shape.
I really love the refence to scripture as it gives the image a real sense of depth that no critic can challange! Bravo

yes i have been told by a few people
and i realise my error (im not much of a whiz when it comes to the bible)
but i thought it just suited anyway
thankyou for the comment, it makes me so happy to hear from people who are actually thinking about what i have written and photographed
as apposed to just liking the aesthetics

I really had to think about the two verses and how they related. I thought it worked well having two different references to your artwork! very inspired!!
