Sunrise Over The Top

Just as the sun rose over the mountains behind me, I’m heading over the summit of the Coquihalla Highway and it was such a pretty morning I just had to break out the camera and take a shot.
I didn’t know if it would turn out and I took a few captures like this just to see. Much to my surprise most of them turned out quite well.
Photo was taken from the drivers seat of my convertible on the way to Horseshoe Bay to catch the ferry over to Vancouver Island, Sept.13/2009

Thanks. I really enjoyed my trip to the island as I have lived in B.C. for 42 years and had never been there. It was a great time to go now as the weather has been spectacular. Still hitting around the 30 degree mark daily here now, even though it’s fall.

great shot Greg, I do a lot of that, taking shots out the window,,,,,guess it’s not professional, but then I don’t consider myself a pro, lol. If your set on sports setting they do turn out very well.

I just had to try it as I did not want to stop. I was trying hard to make it on the ferry for 10am so I was moving fast. It’s a perfect shot for the “Drive By Shooting” group.
