A Woman In Love

A woman in love
Expressing milk
from breast
Kissing and blowing
fingertips
Smelling fragrance
in hair
Lightly touching
silky skin
Smiling gently
with her eyes
Mouthing
mirrored movements
And cooing quietly
under breath
Still amazed
at sheer beauty
At purity
and innocence
Nothing can compare
to love like this
For this woman in love

Wonderful experience for a woman to have and to feel …............... thats took me back a few years Becca I used to watch my wife feed our children and she would perse her lips too …..... and I have watched my Daughter do it also…....... I can see why women are more in tune with themselves than us males. Beautifully written as per usual you talented lady! x – David

Ahhhhh, yes, Becca, you have described here true love. We become in love with our babies. And that love will be there forever until the day we die. We could live to a hundred and if our children are 80 or 70 years old, we will still consider them to be our babies. You have put all that love a mother has for her child in this beautiful poem. This would be a perfect poem for a card for mother’s day or for the birth of a child. I could even see it embroidered in a quilt or a pillow or a baby’s first picture album. Iris
