In the holding of a hand
If you look it’s always there
When you touch, it wakes your heart
When you ache to kiss the face
When it really hurts to part
You know you’ve found love, in this place
Hold it close, keep it safe
You will not want it lost
Give it room and let it grow
No matter what the cost
When it’s grown and found its wings
it will come back, for you to see
If it flies off somewhere else
that’s what, was meant to be

Oh another brilliant piece Rebecca I love this line “When it really hurts to part You know you’ve found love, in this place” also “If it flies off somewhere else that’s what, was meant to be” such a romantic verse and followed with what maybe inevitable if the love is truly not there!

I guess this is one of the hardest lessons…

I may write the words easily enough but I don’t really believe that I would not feel so magnanimous when the time came !!!

I wrote this with a special person in mind but it could never be as easy as this really – the feeling of love is easy to get but the dealing with the rest of it is a little bit more complex!!!
