Skyline from the Sea
If you are ever in New York and want a lovely view of the city from the water…just hop on the Staten Island Ferry…It’s FREE! :).
This is the Southern Tip of Manhattan …where the World Trade Towers once stood and where we will begin to see the rise of the new Freedom Towers (scheduled to open in 2013). An ever-changing skyline.

Skyline from the Sea belongs to the following groups:
Cityscapes and City Skylines ~ ALL THINGS "CITY" , New York City and The Grunge Art Gallery Available for sale asGreeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Lovely light and colour, and I also like the soft focus towards the edges, it throws the attention onto the centre piece, Manhattan itself.

Such a wonderful compliment and a thoughtful one too…Thank you Steve. :).
Paul Manning
so very well done, love how it draws you towards the centre and the wake of the ferry ~ excellent! cheers Paul

Can I ask if this was altered using Photoshop? Really want to start doing my own.
Nice!
RebeccaT replied
Thanks! – Yes, I actually use Photoshop as well as Corel to manipulate most of my photos. For this one I used a few different filters in both programs then adjusted the Depth of Field as well as the saturation in Corel. For more tricks, you can see my Journal . Hope that helps :) – have fun!
