Thanks:) – I was workin’ on the tones for a while…not sure if they were right.
Judith Oppenhe..., 4 months ago
the tones are right, the composition is right, and it is expressive – you have pears evoking feeling, that’s very damn cool!
RebeccaT in reply to Judith Oppenheimer’s comment, 4 months ago
Thank you so much Judith! – That’s exactly what I was hoping for. I’m glad you like it:)

Great use of colour in this minimal shot! Those pears are so animated they almost seem alive!!
The scene reminds me of the expression “three is a crowd” where the pear on the left seems to be looking jealousy at the two snuggling on the right! (or am i a little crazy?) :-)
RebeccaT in reply to felixx’s comment, 4 months ago
Thanks Karen! – It’s so funny that you say that because I was actually considering “three’s a crowd” for the title! – I’m glad you saw it too:)

Phew! so glad it spoke to you in that way too ;
) we must be on the same wavelength where pears are concerned :) Really love this kind of shot Rebecca, i find it fascinating how the brain can see human traits in inanimate objects!RebeccaT in reply to felixx’s comment, 4 months ago
Thanks! I agree completely – in fact…after being such cooperative models…I found it hard to eat them:)- they are still in the fruit bowl awaiting an uncertain fate:)

great tones and relationship between subjects!

Extremely well done work – the white everything except for those brownish monotone pears. Powerful in a very clever way.

I love this!
Though I feel sorry for the pear on its own…(it’s so obvious the other pears are talking about it behind it’s back…sheesh.)
RebeccaT in reply to Paul Rees-Jones’s comment, about 1 month ago
LOL! – Yes they are quite rude little pears aren’t they! :) – Not very considerate at all!...that’s why I ate that little mean one on the right! ;)
Paul Rees-Jones, about 1 month ago
Yes! that showed it…lol
