Red At Night, Sailors Delight (Hurricane Ike)
Taken after Hurricane Ike in Houston,TX (Saturday evening). You know the old saying, “Red at night, sailors delight, red in the morn, sailors warn”. Well, the sky was a beautiful shade of red the evening after the storm. Finally, it had passed.
I ended up riding out the storm with my family there. We were on the North Eastern side of Houston – the part that got the bad side of the storm as well as the eye. Please continue to keep Houston and Galveston in your prayers. The damage is pretty bad and thousands are still without power.
Red At Night, Sailors Delight (Hurricane Ike) belongs to the following groups:
All That Is Nature, Everyday Life, Safe Haven, Sunrise, Sunset, Texas and United StatesAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Thank you Charles! I have actually returned home to the south west coast of TX, but my family is still in Houston. Thanks for the concern. :)
