BTW, can one person enter different category, e.g. Landscape + BnW category?

  • James Pierce

One Person = One Entry per Theme = 5 Entries Total … if you entered each theme once.

  • Tony Anastasi

Great new competition RB gods! There would appear to already be some people who aren’t catching on the ‘one entry per person per theme’ rule, going by a quick search of current entries, as a quick search with the landscapephotocomp tag shows.

So if an image is already uploaded you just have to add the required to to other tags you have in place?...eg add…landscapephotocomp

  • James Pierce

James Pierce, about 1 year ago

Yup, pick your best and tag it.

    James,
Does architectural, cityscape, waterscape, urban, can fall under Theme 1: Landscape, Travel and Nature?

  • MD81

    MD81, about 1 year ago

James, another Qs … for BnW – reportage – if we incorporate person/people … do we need some sort of model release? It is abit hard for in photojournalism of , for example, public demonstration, to get every one we took photos of, to sign a model release or something similar?

    Thanks.

No model releases required for editoral and photo journalism style images, or images without a commercial gain… Technically you hardly ever need a models release here in AU, but else where in the world it can get tricker.

I just found this site and as an extra bonus there’s a photo comp as well. Heaven!! (although I think I’ll just be making up the numbers as my work isn’t that great.)

love the fact there are contests here, as well as getting a chance to view some awesome talent, and hopefully have your own work appreciated as well
on the black and white contest i do have a question. do you want it soley some sort of cars/people? or are landscapes acceptable also? i did submit a landscape, not converted. hope its ok, if not, let me know so i can remove it
thanks very much for holding these contests

Leica Rangefinders are not cameras for everyone rangefinders are distinctly different from reflex mirror cameras. and the M4 has no build in lightmeter.
Is this going to be a new M4-P

Not that I actually stand a chance against these guys, but when I read the fine print about the Canon DSLR I just had to give it a go.

When you say this is a REAL photography comp, I take it you mean photoshopped entries wont be counted? Apologies for sounding like a newbie… but well… I am. To RB, to digital photography, to photoshopping… the whole box and dice! And totally loving it!

    Thanks for a great comp.
