I have always had a passion for photography. I can remember in my childhood being encouraged by my father a keen amateur photographer himself. I graduall\y became aware of the possibilities photography offered; and after leaving school I studied photography and graphic design at Wigan School of Art in Lancashire, England. And later a photography apprenticeship before emigrating to New Zealand. But it wasn’t until I was given my firsr SLR digital camera that I found the freedom to be able to point my camera at whatever inspired me, capture the moment and instantly be able to see the results along with the joy that those special shots can give.
