beautiful shot – I’m curious where you took this from.
Thank you Barb, actually it was a spur of the moment snap out the window of the Athenian restaurant in the Pike Place Market while waiting for breakfast. There, now my secret is out. :] Sometimes you just never know what you’ll get.
Beautiful scape! I’ve only taken this ferry a couple times. We usually cross from Edmonds to Kingston or Whidbey Island to Port Townsend. It’s a shame that we have been missing this spectacular view.
Isn’t This a romantic shot! After all these yrs. of living in the greater Seattle area, I still don’t know which is more romantic: to view one of Washington’s Super Ferries out there in the Sound OR….to Ride on one, leaning on the guard rail watching the wake, the gulls, and the fantastic views of our water & mountains. Love the contrasts of the hues in this pic, Bob.
