© 2009 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved ~~ Who knows what history has been glimpsed from this window in the Joseph Webb house in Wethersfield, Connecticut? Built in 1749 by Judah Wright for the successful merchant, the house has seen centuries of history. It was here in 1781 that George Washington spent five nights and met with French general Comte de Rochambeau to plan the successful battle of Yorktown. Digitally painted from an original photograph shot in June 2009.
