Thank you, Angel! I love dolphins and this one in particular. I was at the aquarium on a charity mission where a teenager was given a prosthetic, mirroring the way a rescued dolphin got a new tailfin. I hadn’t seen this much of dolphins in quite awhile. I was so thrilled at how robust and healthy this and another “show” dolphin were.

I have only seen one up close once and this was at a theme park, it was my sons 7th birthday and he got to touch the dolphin and play football with it .. it was such a beautiful creature
That was my reaction! I occasionally see them out in the Gulf of Mexico here in Florida, but not the way you see their whole bodies when they are doing a complete jump out of water. So confident and muscular! I have loved them my whole life and was still surprised by my reaction.
On my holiday to torquay I went on a boat trip to see the sea life round the coast but we never got to se a dolphin which was a shame .. I would love to see one in the wild
I usually have one eye on the ocean when we are eating at the table, and spot them quickly; but my relatives don’t watch as carefully as I do and get disappointed that they rarely see them )>:

I WOULD SO LOVE TO SWIM WITH A DOLPHIN, GREAT SHOT. BOB ;)
Yeah, I never have either-I was just close to the edge when they were sort of waiting to see what their trainer wanted them to do next…but they were just having some fun and getting warmed up for their show.
Oh how absolutely adorable. Wonderful capture. Can I have a little share of him???
LOL, oooh, oooh-kay…
Wow, great closeup, nice smile on his face.
Thanks, Rosalie! He was a real “looker” and strong and muscular.
From our group ARCHIVES: Congratulations!
