Highway 268 is the most accurate way of describing this place – my in-laws back garden in the foothill of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
It is in the middle of nowhere, but that’s probably not fair on this place. I loved roaming about in this time warp, finding relics from two or three generations back.
