A little green and gold beetle who landed on one of my potted fig trees while I was out stalking my yard with my camera. I only got a few shots of him then he was outta there. Upper Caboolture.

  • Thank you ceecee. I have no idea what it is, but I love the texture he had all over and the green metallic sheen.

Lovely details and colours, some of these little bugs we never see up close are beautiful, Mr Sheen certainly is!! How do you know it is not Mrs Sheen? lol!

  • I love my macro lens! I didn’t even know he looked this good until I loaded it into the computer, it was his colouring that first caught my attention. Would you believe me if I said he winked at me? Lol

  • He was cheeky. It went something like ‘now you see me, now you don’t.’ Oh well, I got a couple of nice shots :)
