Haunting and mystical, my favorite kind of images. That sepia color adds a great mood. I would love to see this butterfly? in my travels sometime. I can only imagine. Fits the poet words fabulously!

There is a wonderfully powerful beauty to this work too Vonne! I realise this image is related more directly to gotic culture and mythology – but I always get the sense that you are very close to – and relate very deeply to your own ancient culture, and that this seems to me to give much to pretty much all your work… maybe I’m wrong, but that’s just what I sense – and I like it a lot :)))
