This modern-day barabaric activity by sealers and fishermen, that is sanctioned by the archaic Canadian Government, has been proven by scientists and veterinarians on the ice, to be cruel, inhumane and unnecessary. There is also no need for any seal by-products in this age of amazing high tech synthetics that mimic fur etc. I propose they ban the seal hunt immediately!!
