Hi! my name is Ray, and its great to be a part of the bubble.. and first of all thank you for visiting my portfolio!

I have always loved photography, and back in the days of film I used to develop and print all my own work, until I moved house and lost my darkroom. And I never was one for trusting the commercial developers with my films.
So for a few years I slightly lost interest on the serious side of it, but then along came “Digital Photography” which changed everything again for me, and not only did I get my darkroom back, “Digital Darkroom” but the best darkroom I could ever have wished for, “Photoshop” I can now do things with my photographs which I could only dream of before, I just wish it was like this 20 years ago, because looking back, it was a bit messy with all those chemicals and working in the dark, its so much easier now..

I see myself mostly as a photo manipulator / artist rather than just a capturer of what is already there.. I have a lot of imagination, and photo manipulation helps me to utilise this imagination.. ☺

Also, I must say that I am really impressed with all the good quality work on this site, a lot of it is of the finest quality that you can find..
