Moreton Corbet Castle, Shropshire, England

Taken with Fuji Finepix Digital camera in natural light. I have used Photofiltre software to add a dark layer to give an atmosphere of dusk bordering darkness which lends itself well to the image that this inspired me with: that you the viewer have just fled the ruins having “sensed” a presence; wide eyed and afraid, concealed behind the branches of a hedgerow you hold your breath, praying that your pounding heart does not give away your hiding place; too late – time is running out…it watches, and waits…

Really love this. Morton Corbet is a great place.

  • Thanks – it is a great place, not many people visit so its retains a strong sense of desolation and presence.
