Harry’s Magic
A darkened corner,
boring books line the shelf
but in among them, colours shine
a beacon calling me
the magic of a wizard awaits the reader who dares
to take on the adventures
of Harry and his friends
Ron and Hermione
against the powers of evil
like all good stories should
to delight the senses and stir the imagination
like no other book before,
Hail to Harry Potter and the magic that he bought
to kids and adults around the world
who saw that shining light…
