Up The Palmerston! F.N.Q Australia

Gorgeous Green Island…

A calendar that I have produced to resell in my town of Ravenshoe at the southern end of the beautiful Atherton Tablelands but great for a souvenir of the area. I wanted to show some of the more fun and interesting things to see and do. A great place for a holiday or day out from the coast!

‘Sunday Arvo Swim At Millaa Millaa Falls’ is on the cover…

‘Up the Palmerston’ covers areas from Cairns, offshore at Green Island, to Innisfail where you can find the picturesque beach of Etty Bay, then Up The Palmerston (Highway) to see the wonderful statues of Christie Palmerston and his Aboriginal guide Pompo raising his hand in a gesture of well-earned victory at the little town of Millaa Millaa with it’s famous Millaa Millaa Falls and the beautiful Beatrice River heading back around Atherton visiting the Rocky Creek WW2 M.A.S.H Unit memorial, we travel the Kennedy Highway out to Ravenshoe seeing the Windmills, Millstream Falls, Capella Steam Train, the highest road in Queensland, holiday in Far Nth Queensland all year round!!

Check out some of the fun stuff we have to see and do up here in Far North Queensland as you travel Up The Palmerston!!

‘The High Road’ – Sign at Tumoulin, the highest declared road in Queensland…

‘Up The Palmerston’ – Christie Palmerston and Pompo remembered at Millaa Millaa Park…
