Beautiful Orb
Here is the same large red orb spider at rest, in position. back into it’s web, a great photo taken by my daughter Alex, 10, there is 3 in this Orb Spider set. This spider is so pretty, it was deep bright red with a fat back looking as though it has been painted, lovely to see some nature like that this morning with Alex.

I am fascinated with arachnids and love to study them. They DO come with wildflowers which I study as well. In the Northeastern US we have a yellow and black spider like this called a Argiope Aurantia or Meadow Spider. It can be found in any large stand of strong stemmed flowers such as iris’. The Argiopes have the telltale zipper in their orb and have the classic stance while waiting for their prey. We also have a white and black one, but not one this colorful with such an amazing design! Nice work V!

lol, I know, how good is she hey? I probably shouldn’t have entered in Art by Bubble Hosts but it is a collaborative work, I helped her clear up the pic and that in editing, but she is a great little photographer! Thank you so much anni for your info and comment :O)
