Acrylic On Canvas
Beautiful, surreal, mysterious.
Thank you Herb, you can’t see it in the photo but there’s three redback (BlackWidow to our US friends) spiders in the painting too.One is perched on the corner of the tattered sheetmusic and two more in the plants….
Very nice work ! I actually thought it was a Digital Art creation until I saw the side text. It looks dreamy and somehow intangible.
Thank you. It actually took me quite some time, and for an acrylic, thats saying something as I can usually finish an acrylic in one sitting. Its actually a very large painting, bring 1.25 x1.0 m. Its also a very emotional painting, as the male figure is my ex and the Bass in the painting is the Rickenback Bass I bought him. As a result I cannot actully look at it right now, but I cannot sell it either….
this is a beautiful painting, you can see the emotion in it…painting is good for the soul and also a healing tool…keep painting you have a great talent!
Thank you Linda… :)
Thank you Misiabe :) and thanks for viewing my work too :)
beautiful colour choice you seem to be into music in a big way i know i am ………lol fine work great angles
My ex is a musican, a Bass Player, and even with the “ugly” break-up, I cannot deny his natural talent and ability to write great songs and play like a demon…
I ALWAYS have either music or a DVD playing when I’m working on a painting or writing a poem…Art, all art, feeds my soul and if I could surround myself from all angles with song, film, photography, paintings, poetry, sculpture… etc, I think I would find true ValHalla!
Only way to be
Oh Blamo! you’re so right!
I’m looking forward to catching up when I get to Europe later on this year! :)
