Hello All,

my name is Raven and I’m working toward becoming a full-time artist.

By day, I work in an office in the Melbourne CBD, but all my free time is spent working on my art.

I have had an exhibition here in Melbourne In Nov 2008 and my next one will be in Paris in September 2009.
I’m going to be involved in Art Expo 21 In Germany also this year and am working on possibly exhibiting in NYC in 2010.
Hope you enjoy my art.

I have some of my work on www.expressionsinmind.com and am working REALLY HARD to find the time to work full time, paint and write.
I have also had a publishing company accept my book of poetry and paintings (in three languages) which I will be working on while in Paris (and Europe) for 4 months from September 2009 – Jan 2010.

When I come back, I’ll be having an exhibtion and a book launch here and (hopefully) an exhibition in NY also.
my company website is: www.expressionsinmind.com
Thanks for reading!
cheers Raven

Writing

Sting

The Sting of shame…. / The Sting of hiding; doors closed, windows shut, body covered…. / The Sting of knuckles tattooed into tender skin….

Autumn Child (Ode to David)

When the ground would crackle and crinkle under the stomp of water proved feet, / And laughter and warmth were all around,

Fear the Light of Day

Dark lonely shadows fill my sleepless, restless, nights. / Yet it is the day, the hour, the future I fear, it is the light.

Fog

FOG At the age of seven you first saw the fog. / At the age of eleven all you could see was fog. And there was no-one to help you. Who could help? Your mother? Your father? Fog is all around …
