While out in the yard this morning, I looked to my side and there it was! The Mama was there too, but she was a bit more shy. They come for the apples that we throw over the fence. I’ve just never been fortunate enough to get a shot (Three dogs make it tough!) until today. I’m so excited——I think they are so beautiful!

I am surprised that they still have their spots. It is a beautiful creature. The leaves are turning here. It won’t be long until summer is gone. xx

  • Funny Lori, but I was actually thinking that it was a little late to have a young one. It’s starting to slowly change here too so I guess it’s about time to get some corn back there for them. I’ve seen both of them a few times after the apples, but the tree is almost bare of them now. (My dogs eat them, believe it or not) XXSUEXX

magnificent capture, how cool to have them so close to you xx

  • Thanks Kathy. I get a lot of good shots beyond that fence. The area that you see is the only part of the fence thats not completely covered in honeysuckle vines, so I have the perfect place that goes from a very nice, well kept yard to a forest thats just a stones throw away! XXSUEXX

you are luck Sue. I would to have deer that close to my house. very nice

  • Thanks Dave. I don’t usually have an opportunity to get a good shot because I rarely get out in the yard with my camera without the dogs…this time I got lucky! XXSUEXX
