thoughts of how art impacts individuals and community
for me art connects me to life. it gives me expression to all the things i see think and feel with a diversity of medium, style and genre for each and every mood. truly those who are connected to life within their arts are the ones paving the way for wholeness and balance despite the worst of times. music, writing and art all direct those who may be temporarily lost for a season to begin to love, think and examine who they are and where they are going. without some work of your own hands be it wood, metals, earth or paint, camera, or fiber arts, i am sure this world would give no meaning or purpose. for in creation we become one with the Ancient of Days and find our value. best of all is the community we build with relationship to those of like mind, as well as to those of different thinking. that to me is the power of art to bring peoples and humankind together.
