Why We Should Save Trees
Published by Keshav Saini in Save Environment
Trees are very important and necessary for existence of life on this planet. It’s impossible to believe life without trees, trees play important role in our very dependable food cycle.
Our existing forests and trees we plant in our life work inline to make this planet better place to live and flourish, thus saving and growing more trees is very essential for future generations.
Oxygen; the fact is no life on this planet can survive without Oxygen, thus saying no trees no life is unavoidable fact. A fully grown and flourished tree produces as much Oxygen in a season as average 10 person’s inhales in a year. So a set of multiple trees AKA “forest” helps to filter air we breathe and produce oxygen for survival of life.
Cleaning the Soil, Human civilization flourished to their extent when we learnt cultivation. Here also trees played major role of getting land fertile which helped humans to carry agriculture techniques to grow food for their needs. Trees absorb harmful chemicals and pollutants that have entered soil. Trees can store these pollutants or change them into natural fertilizers which make soils more fertile this process is called phytoremediation. Tree filter sewage and a farm chemical, reduce the effects of animal wastes, and clean water running into rivers.

Trees Slow Storm Water RunoffFlash flooding can be reduced by a forest or by planting trees. Planting and growing wild, can intercept more than 1000 gallons of water annually when fully grown. Underground water-holding aquifers are recharged with this slowing down of water runoff.
Trees absorbs carbon dioxide, as animal’s breaths oxygen and gives out carbon dioxide to control the balance of carbon dioxide which is harmful for life and cause of global warming trees absorbs carbon dioxide. Trees use carbon dioxide to produce their food and gives out precious oxygen.
Trees help to control noise pollution; they also act as natural windbreakers which we can call as nature’s air conditioning apart from this they also provide us with shade and cool.
To save trees we must act before it’s too late, now laws exists to save trees. In many countries like Unites states and United Kingdom it’s mandatory to carry tree surveys before planning town and any construction work this helps to know condition of trees and life dependent on trees.
